Job Description:
Mental Health Screening: Each inmate entering the State's prison system receives a quick mental health screening. This is a quick assessment designed to evaluate for major mental health disorders such as Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Major Depressive Disorder.
Psychological Intakes: Inmates who are referred to mental health receive an intake evaluation to determine whether or not they have a diagnosis needing treatment.
They work with clients on a variety of different mental or physical health problems including:
o depression and anxiety
o mental illness
o adjustment to physical illness
o neurological disorders
o addictive behaviors
o challenging behaviors
o eating disorders
o personal and family relationship problems
o Learning disabilities.
Qualifications:
o Current CA license
o A minimum of one year of experience (Clinical Psychology)
o Professional references
